On the left is Lolita Turner's air force themed baby quilt for her new grandson. She used parts of the baby's mom and dad's uniforms for the blocks and embellished them with patches that included their names and air force wings. Another grandson was so impressed that he asked for one as well.
You can see the second one Lolita tied  with Sydney and friends in the banner of this page. It has
"Transformer" fabric on the back.

The beige on beige quilt above was a wedding quilt  Jennie made for a niece who had picked out all white and beige in her wedding registries.  It's made of all recycled with fabrics picked especially for the project at thrift stores and features eyelet, damask, linen and printed cotton.  It was pieced using the 'disappearing 9 patch design.

On the left is Ilene Bryson's gift to a teenager going to London for her first year in college.  It features white blocks on which her family and friends have written good luck messages.  Gabi s the one in shorts on the left and her mother is behind her. Everyone in the picture helped to tie
the quilt in the studio.  After the tying, the quilt was bordered in a dark blue that matched the blue squares in the patchwork.
